How does the Water Retaining Mat Work?

• Each mat is made up a of series of layers and can expand to absorb up to 1 litre of water
• Mat Releases Water to the roots as they need it
• Roots will seek out water and will draw from the water mat

How to Install the Water Mat

• Place the Water Mat into the basket with the fluffy side up 2cm below the intended root level
• Fill the container with compost and plant
• Water the container - the Rainmat will quickly absorb large qtys of water
• Water only occassionaly to top up the reservoir
