- Foliage
- Soft, velvety, scalloped-edge foliage
- Leaves approx. 10–15cm wide, fan-shaped and fresh green
- Foliage collects attractive water droplets after rain
- Deciduous – will die back in winter and regrow in spring
- Space Plants: 30–40cm Apart
- Preferred Position:
- Partial shade or full sun in moist but well-drained soil
- Tolerates exposed and sheltered sites
- Can thrive in chalk, loam, or clay soils with any pH

- Excellent for ground cover, edging, and the front of borders
- Valued for long-lasting foliage and soft, frothy blooms
- Looks stunning after rain as droplets bead on leaves
- Effective in cottage gardens, wildlife gardens, and informal beds
- Attractive to pollinators and good for cut flower arrangements

- Great contrast under Copper Beech or Cotinus 'Smoke Bush'
Alchemilla Mollis - How to Grow
- Plant in large pots (5L or bigger) or directly into garden beds
- Water well after planting and keep moist until established
- Prefers partial shade but tolerates full sun
- Prune back hard after flowering to encourage new foliage
- Self-seeds freely – remove unwanted seedlings to prevent spread
- Easy to grow and very low maintenance
- Hardy down to -20°C (Fully Hardy)
