Anemone Bulbs - How to Grow
- It is always best to start your bulbs indoors, in a greenhouse or polytunnel
- Grow in large pots (5L or bigger)
- Once shoots are 10cm in height you can move out into the garden
- Soak bulbs before sowing
- Choose a location for your anemones
- Full sun & sheltered spot
- Deep, fertile soil that is well drained
- Sowing time: Autumn or Spring
- Sowing depth: Plant bulbs approx. 15cm deep
- Spacing: 30cm apart
- Plant bulbs with pointed end facing upwards
- Then cover with soil & water in
Note
- Very Important: Roots need to be kept moist at all times
- Plant as soon as your parcel arrives, or keep moist by storing in damp newspaper
- Soak again before planting & water in well after planting
