Planting Time
- Plant as soon as the tree arrives
- Potted trees can be planted all year round
- Avoid planting in frozen or waterlogged ground
- Suitable for both pots and garden beds
After Care
- Water thoroughly before and after planting
- Water regularly until well established
- If dry weather persists, water every 2 days
- Keep the base clear of weeds – bindweed can smother young trees
- Check tree ties after 2 years to avoid constriction
- Refresh container compost every 2–3 years
