Planting Time

  • Plant as soon as the tree arrives
  • Potted trees can be planted all year round
  • Avoid planting in frozen or waterlogged ground
  • Suitable for both pots and garden beds

After Care

  • Water thoroughly before and after planting
  • Water regularly until well established
  • If dry weather persists, water every 2 days
  • Keep the base clear of weeds – bindweed can smother young trees
  • Check tree ties after 2 years to avoid constriction
  • Refresh container compost every 2–3 years
