- Asters are a great plant for any garden
- These small Asters stay neat & compact so ideal for front of borders
- Great in a low maintenance garden

- Use as an in-filler between larger shrubs
- Sometimes used to form a low hedge

Aster Roots - How to Sow
- Allows best to start your bulbs indoors, in a greenhouse or polytunnel
- Grow in large pots (5L or bigger)
- Once shoots are 10cm in height you can move out into the garden
- Likes full sun
- Soil: Most soil types
- Sowing Depth: Approx. 10cm deep
- Water well before & after planting
- Ensure plants don't dry out in drought periods
- Divide clumps in Autumn after flowers have faded every 3 or 4 years
- Plants will last many years
- Cut back once all flowers have faded
- Cut down to ground levelNote
- Very Important: Roots need to be kept moist at all times
- Plant as soon as your parcel arrives, or keep moist by storing in damp newspaper
- Soak again before planting & water in well after planting
