Where to Plant
Plant Narcissus Replete in a sunny or lightly shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil. It works particularly well towards the middle or front of mixed borders and looks impressive when planted in groups.
Replete is also suitable for containers and patio pots, allowing its distinctive flowers to be enjoyed close to the home.
How to Plant
Plant the bulbs in autumn, with the pointed end facing upwards. Choose well-drained soil and plant at approximately two to three times the height of the bulb. Space the bulbs around 10 to 15cm apart for a natural and full display.
When planting in containers, use good-quality bulb or multipurpose compost and make sure the container has sufficient drainage.
Growing and Care
Water after planting if the soil is dry. Once established, Narcissus require relatively little maintenance and can return year after year in suitable growing conditions.
After flowering, remove spent flower heads if desired but allow the foliage to remain until it has naturally yellowed and died back. The leaves help replenish the bulb's energy reserves for the following season.
