Bio Narcissus Tete A Tete Bulbs 8 Pack

Narcissus Tete A Tete is one of the most popular dwarf daffodils, valued for its compact growth and cheerful golden yellow flowers. An excellent early spring flowering bulb, it brings bright seasonal colour to borders, rockeries, containers and naturalised planting areas.

This Bio 8 pack is ideal for creating a compact group of flowers in the garden or in pots. The short, sturdy plants are particularly useful where taller daffodils would be out of scale.

Characteristics

  • Plant: Narcissus
  • Variety: Tete A Tete
  • Pack Size: 8 bulbs
  • Flower Colour: Golden yellow
  • Flowering Period: Early spring
  • Type: Dwarf daffodil bulb
  • Growth: Compact and low growing
  • Uses: Borders, rockeries, containers and naturalising

Where to Plant

Plant Tete A Tete daffodils in a sunny or lightly shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil. Their compact size makes them especially effective at the front of borders, in rockeries and around paths and planting areas.

They are also excellent in containers, where the bright yellow flowers provide an attractive early spring display close to patios, entrances and seating areas.

How to Plant

Plant the bulbs in autumn, with the pointed end facing upwards. Choose well-drained soil and plant at approximately two to three times the height of the bulb. Space bulbs around 8 to 10cm apart for a full display.

For containers, use good-quality bulb or multipurpose compost and ensure the container has adequate drainage. Plant several bulbs together to create a stronger group of flowers.

Growing and Care

Water after planting if conditions are dry. Once established, Narcissus Tete A Tete is relatively easy to grow and can return year after year in suitable conditions.

After flowering, remove the spent flowers if desired but allow the foliage to remain until it has naturally yellowed and died back. The leaves help replenish the bulb and prepare it for the following year's growth.

Naturalising

Tete A Tete is well suited to naturalising in lawns, grassed areas and informal planting schemes. Plant groups of bulbs for a natural spring display alongside other early flowering bulbs.

Planting Ideas

Combine with crocuses, snowdrops, muscari and other spring bulbs for a succession of early-season colour. Its compact habit also makes it an excellent choice for pots, window boxes, rockeries and the front of mixed borders.
