Broccoli Plants - Sowing Instructions
- Water tray before sowing
- Prepare hole for each plug
- Add a small amount of fertiliser to each hole
- Sow broccoli plants on in the garden from late April to May
- Take care as roots don't like being disturbed
- Firm plants in well
- Spacing: 45cm apart in rows, with rows 50cm apart
- Soil: Deep & fertile
- Happy in heavy clay but doesn't like sandy soils
- Best grown in partial shade
- Harvest: August onward
