Camassia Bulbs - How to Sow

- Choose a sunny or partially shaded planting location.
- To prepare planting hole:
- Use a garden hand trowel, dibber or bulb planter.
- Depth: Approximately 10cm - 15cm deep.
- Spacing: 15cm - 20cm apart.
- Soil: Fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Incorporate organic matter before planting if required.
- Plant bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards.
- Cover with soil and firm gently.
- Water well after planting.
- Feed with poultry manure or a balanced fertiliser as new growth appears.
- Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering so the bulbs store energy for the following season.
- Leave bulbs undisturbed to naturalise and enjoy larger flowering displays each year.
