Carnation Seeds - Sowing Tips
- Sow:
- Indoors: Jan to March
- Water well
- Place in warm position (20-25°c is ideal)
- Seedlings usually appear in 1-4 weeks
- Flowers: August to Oct
- Plant out: Avoiding frosts (May to July), 25cm apart
- Always handle seedlings by the leaf, not the stem
- Grow in full sun
- Deadhead for continuous flowers
