Cornflower Seeds - How to Sow

  • Sow outdoors directly where plants are to flower
  • Prepare finely raked soil & water before sowing
  • Sow seeds 0.5cm deep
  • Germination usually occurs within 14 to 28 days
  • Thin seedlings to 20cm apart
  • Water regularly until plants are established
  • Make repeat sowings every 2 to 3 weeks for continuous flowering
  • Autumn sowings will flower earlier the following year
