Potted Cornus Kousa Tree - Characteristics
- Habit: Forms an upright tree, single stemmed
- Develops a dome canopy with age
- Varigated foliage, green with yellow margins
- Flower: Wide, 4 petaled flowers appear in early Summer
- Flower colour: Cream
- Flowering period: May to July
- Deciduous foliage turning red in Autumn
- Mature size: 3 to 4m in height & spread
- If allowed to grow to full maturity
- Can be maintained at smaller size either
- Excellent choice for a medium sized garden, courtyard or front lawn

Potted Cornus Kousa Tree - Planting Instructions
Planting Time
- Suitable for planting all year round
- Avoid frosty conditions, where the ground is frozen
Positioning Trees
- Cornus Kousa trees are happy in partial shade
- Can be grown in a woodland setting
- Prefers fertile, well drained, light or heavy clay
- Can be grown in acidic or alkaline soils
- When planting, hold plants at ground level & back fill the top soil
- Ensure each plant is straight & soil is compacted in around it's root ball
- Level off the soil around the plants
After Care
- Soak pot for approx. 10 minutes before planting
- Water again after planting
- If dry weather persists, water every 2 days
- Weeding is also essential, especially bind weed which can quickly smoother a young tree
- Keep grass growth away from the base of trees to ensure a faster growth rate
- Avoid strimming around the base of trees
Note: We don't ship plants on Fridays due to the extended period they would remain without light & water

- Bulk bags & large orders are shipped via pallet couriers on a rigid lorry
- Delivery is to kerbside only

- Also, we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day (Please allow 1-3 days for delivery)
- It's always best to order well in advance to avoid disappointment
- Cancellation of pallets when items are already in transit will incur a 40 euro per pallet cancellation fee (To cover return delivery costs)
