Planting Time

  • Plant as soon as the plants arrive
  • Potted trees can be planted all year round
  • Avoid freezing conditions, where the ground is frozen
  • Suited to pots & containers

After Care

  • Water bare root plants regularly until plants establish
  • Water before & after planting
  • If dry weather persists, water every 2 days
  • Weeding is also essential - especially bind weed which can quickly smoother a young tree
  • After 2 years, check the tree stakes to ensure they are not too tight around the tree
