Crocus Bulbs - Uses
- Low-growing Crocus Bulbs are ideal for lawns, rockeries, containers and the front of borders.
- The striped flowers add pattern and contrast to low spring planting in lawns and containers.
- Plant beneath deciduous trees or through short grass for an early naturalised display.
- Group several bulbs together so the flowers make a stronger impact at the end of winter.
- Mix Crocus Bulbs with snowdrops, miniature daffodils and early iris for extended spring colour.
Crocus Bulbs - How to Sow
- Choose a sunny or partially shaded location with well-drained soil.
- Use a dibber, trowel or bulb planter to make a hole approximately 5-8cm deep.
- Place each Crocus bulb with the pointed end facing upwards.
- Space bulbs approximately 5-8cm apart, or plant more closely in containers.
- Cover with soil and water well after planting.
- Leave Crocus Bulbs undisturbed where possible so they can naturalise and return each spring.
