Crocus Bulbs - How to Sow

- Choose a sunny or lightly shaded planting location.
- To prepare planting hole:
- Use a garden hand trowel, dibber or bulb planter.
- Depth: Approximately 7cm - 10cm deep.
- Spacing: 5cm - 8cm apart.
- Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil. Improve heavy clay soils with horticultural grit or sand if required.
- Plant bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards.
- Cover with soil and firm gently.
- Water well after planting.
- Feed with a balanced bulb fertiliser once foliage appears if required.
- Allow leaves to die back naturally after flowering to replenish the bulbs.
- Leave bulbs undisturbed to naturalise and multiply over future seasons.
