Daffodil Bulbs - Uses
- Daffodil Bulbs are reliable spring performers for beds, borders, lawns and large containers.
- Replete adds a distinctive double flower shape and soft peach-pink colour to mixed daffodil planting.
- Plant in clumps, informal drifts or beneath deciduous trees and shrubs for a natural effect.
- They are useful for brightening entrances, paths and mixed spring planting schemes.
- Combine Daffodil Bulbs with tulips, muscari and other spring bulbs for a long season of colour.
Daffodil Bulbs - How to Sow
- Choose a sunny or partially shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil.
- Plant bulbs in autumn at a depth of roughly three times the height of the bulb, usually about 10-15cm deep.
- Place each Daffodil bulb with the pointed end facing upwards and space approximately 10-15cm apart.
- Cover with soil and water well after planting.
- Feed when foliage appears in spring and remove faded flowers after blooming.
- Allow Daffodil Bulbs foliage to turn yellow and die back naturally before cutting it away.
