Dicentra Spectablis - How to Grow
- Handle roots with care
- Soak roots in lukewarm water before planting
- It is always best to start your bulbs indoors, in a greenhouse or polytunnel
- Grow in large pots (5L or bigger)
- Once shoots are 10cm in height you can move out into the garden
- Plant in Spring
- Prepare soil by adding well rotted farm yard manure
- Dicentra grows in shade or partial shade
- Keep moist & feed at time of planting
- Likes humus rich soils
