Dwarf Tulip Bulbs - How to Sow
- Choose planting location
- Tulips like well drained soil in a sunny spot
- If soil is not well draining then add a small amount of horticultural sand
- Prepare planting hole
- Use a trowel or bulb planter
- Sow bulbs approx 15cm deep
- Space bulbs 8cm to 10cm apart
- Fill in hole with soil
- Water well
- Feed once foliage appears
- Cut back foliage once flowering has passed and leaves have wilted
- Lift, clean, dry and store bulbs
