- Magnesium is an essential micro nutrient for plants
- Epsom salts are important for the following

- Very important for crops including tomatoes, brassicas & house plants

Epsom Salts - Application
- Apply 70g/m2 evenly on the soil surface
- Or apply a small handful around the base of deficient plants
- For best results, dilute in water & apply
- Mix 20g per 1 litre of water
- Epsom salts can be applied directly to plant foliage
- Apply using a sprayer or watering can
- Can also be applied on a monthly basis as part of a regular fertiliser regime

- Reduced growth rates & yields
- Early signs of deficiencies appear from the bottom of the plant first
- Appearance on foliage: Pale coloured leaves followed by chlororsis (loss of colour) between leaf veins
- Upper leaves can develop a purple hue
