Fencing Stakes - Uses
- Can used for a variety of uses

- Staking & supporting small to medium sized trees
- Largest & thickest stakes are suitable for supporting semi mature trees
- Used in conjunction with Tree Ties
- Can support trees up to 15ft in height
Fencing Stakes - How to Use as Tree Stake
- Position stake between tree and prevailing wind
- Place stake and tree into planted hole at the same time
- This is to prevent damage to tree's roots
- Have a person hold tree and stake
- Use a sledge hammer to bury stake
- Stake should be approx 3 inches from tree
- Stake should be straight and sturdy
- Next plant the tree
- Finally use a tree tie to secure tree to stake
- Screw or nail tree tie to stake
- Remember to check stakes each year and loosen ties as required
- After 3 to 4 years, once tree as successfully anchored- remove stake
