Fencing Staples - How to Use
Wind Break Material
- Ensure wind breaker is pulled tight before securing to fencing / posts
- Place 3 staples every 2 metres
- Staple the top, middle & bottom of mesh - Ideally use staples in the reinforced stitching of the wind block
Garden Screening
- Ensure screen is pulled tight before securing to fencing / posts
- Staple the support wire to fencing or timber posts
- Place 3 staples every 0.5 metres
- Staple the top, middle & bottom of the screen
Trellis Sections
- Use 6 staples per trellis section
- Tap staples into trellis sections slowly
- Take care not to split the timber when hammering in staples
Tree Ties
- Use two staples per tree tie
- Ensure tree tie is loose around the tree & tight around the tree stake
- Hammer in staples using a claw hammer
