Potted Foxglove Plant - Characteristics
- Habit: Clump forming with tall arching flower stems
- Evergreen herbaceous perennials
- Final Height: 60cm
- Flower: Spike of drooping bell-shaped flowers
- Flowering Period: June - August
- Flower Colour: Cream / white petals with deep purple spots
- Foliage: Large, oval leaves with pointed tips
Potted Foxglove Plant - Planting Instructions
- Foxgloves are happy in most soils
- Best in humus rich soils
- We always recommend soaking plant pots for 3 minutes before planting
- Dig hole roughly twice the size of the plant pot
- Handle pots with care
- Squeeze side of pots to remove plant
- Plant Foxgloves so that the top of root ball is level with existing soil level
- Firm in well
- Soak soil well after planting
- Little maintenance required after that point
- Flower heads can be removed in Autumn
