    Green Manure Seeds - Sowing Instructions

    • Sow: 
      • March to August, to dig in same year
      • August to September, to dig in next year
    • Dig in: March to November
    • Cut back plants and allow foliage to wilt before digging in
    • Mow before flowering to extend cover period
    • Crops sown over winter will die in frosts, forming protective mulch
    • Leave plants in ground till the soil is required, without letting them set seed
    • Can be used any time of the year
    • Incorporate in your yearly rotation plan
    • Once dug in, the area can be sown with vegetable plants or seeds
