Hellebore Bulbs - How to Grow
- Hellebores prefers a shaded spot
- Bulbs can be sown in Spring
- Ideally, soak bulbs just before planting
- Depth: 3x the height of the bulb
- Sow with pointed end pointing upwards
- Ideally grow in good loam soil
- Add manure or John Innes compost to improve poor soils
- These plants are low maintenance, & require little care
- Water well after planting
- Will benefit from a feed in March & again in August
- Dead head to encourage better flowering
