Daylily Roots (Hemerocallis) - How to Sow
- Sow roots once they arrive
- It is always best to start your bulbs indoors, in a greenhouse or polytunnel
- Grow in large pots (5L or bigger)
- Once shoots are 10cm in height you can move out into the garden
- Ensure they get adequate water by soaking before & after planting
- Sow roots approx. 10cm deep
- Daylilies require little maintenance
- They don't need dead heading
- They can be divided every 4 or 5 years. Best done in early Spring
