Hollyhock Seeds - Sowing Tips
- Sow:
- Indoors: Feb to April
- Outdoors: May to July
- Water well
- Place in warm position (15-20°c is ideal)
- In harsh wintes, seedlings may benefit form cloche protection
- Seedlings usually appear in 2-4 weeks
- Flowers: June to Oct
- Plant out: avoiding frosts (June to Oct), 25cm apart
- Always handle seedlings by the leaf, not the stem
- Grow in full sun
- Deadhead for continuous flowers
