- These collars are used with tree tie belts to
- Ensure belt stays in place
- To prevent the tree & stake rubbing in windy conditions

Hoop Collar Spacers - How to Use
- Cut section of tree strapping belt to size
- Feed belt through the spacer / Hoop Collar
- Loop the belt around the tree & feed back into the spacer / hoop collar
- Bring belt around the tree stake
- Secure belt to tree stake using staples
Hoop Collar Spacers - Notes
- The stake & tree should be no more than 10cm apart
- The stake should be positioned between the tree & prevailing wind
- Check trees each year to lengthen tree tie
- Ensure tie is not too tight around the tree
