I have used these for years (40+), and they work beautifully. Even when I managed to pull one partly apart by trying to pull it out of the bushes (the spring came out), it still provided an excellent connection without leaking, even if I had to leave the male connector inserted in order to connect and disconnect it to other sections of the hose. These new connectors have been ordered so that I have some reserves, since I need to replace hoses this year, and sometimes they can be difficult to remove properly after too much time together.

These are brilliantly good. The connection to the hose is firm and easy to make securely, and connecting two lengths of hose together is fast, simple, and without problems. These are slightly different from the (very) old Darlac connections I have had; they are not only easier to connect to the hose, but it looks as though they will no longer risk becoming so firmly attached that they sometimes have had to be abandoned along with the old hose.
