Sowing Instructions
- Sowing Time: February to March
 
- Sowing location: Sow indoors
 - Sow in seed trays (such as 24 cell seed trays or single cell seed trays)
 - Shallow seed trays are better than 9cm pots
 
- Sow seeds freely into seed trays
 
- Soak soil before sowing
 
- Press seeds into soil surface
 - Do not cover seeds
 
- Germination after 2 weeks
 
How to Transplant
- Once seedlings are large enough to handle
 - Transplant out into the garden
 - Generally 6 to 8 weeks after germination
 - Harden off before transplanting to outdoors location
 - Be sure that all frost has passed before transplanting out (after March)
 - Prefers a sunny location with space to spread
 - Soil: Well drained, moderate fertility
 
Crop Maintenance
- Keep moist & weed free
 - Plant in & around your vegetable garden to repel pests
 - Plant near cabbage, cucumber & onions
 - Can be grown in pots
 
How to Harvest
- This is a perennial plant & will live for many years
 - They can be harvested each year once flowers are at their peak
 - Cut flowers at their base
 - Wash, rinse & dry flowers
 - Place flowers indoors, in warm airy location to dry
 - Infuse to make herbal teas
