Japanese Maple Feed - How To Use
- When planting a new acer:
- Dig a hole slightly larger than the root-ball of the acer
- Fork over the base of the pit & apply 30-60g to the bottom of the hole
- Mix a similar quantity with the soil back fill
- As an anual feed for an established acer:
- Apply Vitax acer feed as a spring top drssing at a rate of 120g/m beneath the spread of the branches
- Water in dry weather
- Tips
- 1 gloved handful is approximately 30g
