Kniphofia Roots - How to Sow
- Handle roots with care
- Plant as soon as plants are delivered
- Soak roots in water for 30 minute before sowing
- Plant in full sun
- Red Hot Pokers prefer well drained soil with good fertility
- Avoid damp soils
- Plant roots approx. 10cm in depth
- Use general compost when planting roots
- Dead head by removing entire flowering stem
- Mulch up around plants in Autumn
