- We recommend growing in pots & turning these pots every few days to maximize light
- To ensure a good harvest, grow in greenhouses
- The next best location woudl be a conservatory
- Happiest in temperatures between 18 - 24°C
- You can also grow them in pots & move outside in Summer
- Provide good drainage
- Avoid shaded, exposed areas & frost pockets
After Care
- Water plants when they arrive
- Water again after planting
- Water potted Kumquats every 2 weeks
Feed in Spring & throughout the Summer months
Harvest
- Harvest when fruits turn orange
- Fruits can be left on tree for several weeks
Pollination
- Note: if you keep your tree indoors at all times then it will require pollination
- This is due to lack of insects or bees indoors
- You can pollinate by brushing the flowers with a light paint brush
- This will spread the pollen from flower to flower
