Potted Lavender Plant - Planting Instructions
- Lavender plants are happy in soils of low fertility
- Position in a sunny spot
- Soak pot for about 3 minutes before planting
- Dig hole roughly twice the size of the plant pot
- Plant Lavender so that the top of root ball is level with existing soil level
- Firm in well
- Soak soil well after planting
- Lavender requires trimming back every year
- This is help to maintain it's compact shape
- Trim back to within 1" of old wood in Autumn
- Take softwood cuttings in June
