Lawn Roller - How to Use
- Roller should be used as part of soil preparation for lawns
- Before starting to prepare soil you must weed kill off all weeds & grass
- Allow 6 to 8 weeks for weeds, grass & roots to die down then begin soil preparation
- First soil must be dug / rotavated & levelled
- Remove all small stones, rocks & roots
- Rake over soil to get it level
- Now you can roll the soil
- Be sure to do so in dry conditions
- Slowly run the roller up & down your prepared soil
- Tread carefully on the soil as you go
- Pick out any small stones & rake out any bumps in the soil
- Roll again & then sow your seed
- After sowing lawn seed, lightly rake soil to bury the seed
