Lily Bulbs - How to Sow
- For best results you should start in a greenhouse
- Plant into rich compost, sowing approx. 6 inches deep
- When to sow: Late Feb to April
- Sow with pointed end pointing upwards
- Cover with soil & water in well
- Move out into the garden in early Summer
- Feed when foliage appears
- When foliage dies & turns yellow, cut back the foliage
- Divide bulb clumps every 4 to 5 years
