Lily Bulbs - How to Sow
- Ideally, start bulbs in greenhouse in early Spring
- Sow approx. 6 inches deep into rich compost
- Sow from late Feb to April
- Sow with pointed end pointing upwards
- Cover with soil & water in well
- Move out into the garden in early Summer
- Feed when foliage appears
- When foliage dies & turns yellow - cut back the foliage
- Divide bulb clumps every 4 to 5 years
