Lupin Bulbs - How to Sow
- Sow Lupin bulbs as soon as they arrive
- The ideal planting season is early Spring
- Soak roots in water for 30 minute before sowing
- Plant roots approx. 5cm in depth
- Use general compost when planting roots
- Dead head by removing entire flowering stem
- Mulch up around plants in Autumn
- Protect young plants from slugs
- Place a slug barrier around these plants until they are large enough to survive a slug attack
