  • Excellent for naturalising in lawns, woodland gardens and beneath deciduous trees.
  • Suitable for cottage gardens, rockeries and informal planting schemes.
  • Produces beautiful long-lasting cut flowers for indoor displays.
  • Combines perfectly with tulips, crocuses and other spring flowering bulbs.
  • A hardy perennial collection that returns each spring with increasing colour.

Daffodil Bulbs - How to Sow

  • See our blog on how to sow and care for bulbs.
  • Choose a sunny or partially shaded planting location.
  • To prepare planting hole:
  • Use a garden hand trowel, dibber or bulb planter.
  • Depth: Approximately 10cm - 15cm deep.
  • Spacing: 10cm - 15cm apart.
  • Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil. Improve heavy or waterlogged soils with horticultural grit or sand before planting.
  • Plant bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards.
  • Cover with soil and firm gently.
  • Water thoroughly after planting.
  • Feed with poultry manure or a balanced bulb fertiliser once foliage begins to emerge.
  • Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering to restore energy to the bulbs for next season.
  • Leave bulbs undisturbed to naturalise and provide increasingly impressive displays each spring.
