- Bulk bags & large orders are shipped via pallet couriers on a rigid lorry
- Delivery is to kerbside only
- If road access to your site is tight, then please advise us before purchasing
- Please Note: We cannot guarantee next day delivery on pallet deliveries
- Also, we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day (Please allow 5-7 working days for delivery)
- It's always best to order well in advance to avoid disappointment
- Cancellation of pallets when items are already in transit will incur a 40 euro per pallet cancellation fee (To cover return delivery costs)
- Where pallet delivery can not be made due to site access, a 40 euro per pallet cancellation fee will apply (To cover return delivery costs)
- Re-rooting of a pallet where incorrect delivery address details have been given, a 40 euro per pallet cancellation fee will apply (To cover return delivery costs)
Mushroom Compost - Uses
- Great as a soil conditioner or mulch
- Can be used on flower beds or vegetable plots
- Note: Mushroom compost is alkaline, low pH
- This is not suitable for blueberries or acid loving plants
- High in organic matter
- Will help improve soil life
- Humus rich improving airflow & drainage
Mushroom Compost - Notes
- Spores of mushrooms will be present in this compost
- This can lead to the growth of mushrooms in flower beds
- These can be removed & disposed of or eaten
- Fresh compost - Note: This will need time to breakdown before use
- Mushroom compost is a loose compost
- It's a good idea to mix it with existing soil if using immediately
- Alternatively, put in place at the end of growing season to let it rot down for the next growing season
