Tulip Bulbs - How to Sow
- Choose a sunny or lightly shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil.
- Plant bulbs in autumn at approximately two to three times their own depth, unless the packet gives more specific instructions.
- Position bulbs with the growing point upwards, cover with soil and firm gently.
- Water after planting and avoid waterlogged conditions.
- Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering so the bulb can store energy for the following season.
