Phlox Seeds - Sowing Instructions
- Germination takes 10 - 14 days
- Sow between Feb & May
- If sown late, they won't flower in the 1st year
- Requires period of cold to germinate
- Place seeds in cold (2 to 4 degrees) for 4 to 6 weeks - soak seeds before refrigerating
- Sow in compost in 9cm pots & grow in greenhouse - takes a further 2 weeks to germinate
- Needs light to germinate - so only lightly cover with vermiculite
- Plant out into the garden once large enough
- Keep moist & feed at time of planting
- Grow in full sun or semi shade
