Tips & Advice

  • Start by adding 15cm of compost into each planter bag
  • We recommend placing 3 or 4 seed potatoes into the base of the grow bag, cover with soil & water well
  • Keep watered regularly & feed once every 4 weeks (30g per feed)
  • As the potatoes grow, you can earth up around the shoots by adding more soil to the grow bag
  • Allow plant to develop & flower
  • After flowering, the harvest can commence
  • Your harvest will depend on your soil & growing conditions / watering
  • A very good yield would be 15:1

Watering Your Spuds

  • Use a saucer to keep pot moist & prevent soil from drying out
  • 35cm saucer would be ideal
  • Check soil moisture regularly
  • Water saucer every second day
