Tips & Advice
- Start by adding 15cm of compost into each planter bag
- We recommend placing 3 or 4 seed potatoes into the base of the grow bag, cover with soil & water well
- Keep watered regularly & feed once every 4 weeks (30g per feed)
- As the potatoes grow, you can earth up around the shoots by adding more soil to the grow bag
- Allow plant to develop & flower
- After flowering, the harvest can commence
- Your harvest will depend on your soil & growing conditions / watering
- A very good yield would be 15:1
Watering Your Spuds
- Use a saucer to keep pot moist & prevent soil from drying out
- 35cm saucer would be ideal
- Check soil moisture regularly
- Water saucer every second day
Planting & Harvesting Times
- Plant approx. March 15th gives potatoes by May 15th
- Plant approx. April 1st gives potatoes by June 1st
