Potted Allium Plant - How to Sow
- Sowing time: Potted plants can be planted all year round
- Choose a sunny spot
- Soil should be well draining
- Add grit to heavy soils
- Before planting, soak pot for about 3 minutes before planting
- Dig hole roughly twice the size of the plant pot
- Handle pots with care
- Carefully squeeze side of pots to remove plant
- Position plant in the ground so that the top of root ball is level with existing soil level
- Firm in well
- Soak soil well after planting
