Red Hot Poker Plant - Characteristics
- Stately & tall herbaceous perennial
- Final Height: 125cm

Red Hot Poker Plant - Planting Instructions
- Red Hot Pokers prefer a sandy soil or dry soil
- Ideal in well drained soils
- Position in full sun
- Before planting, soak pot for about 3 minutes before planting
- Dig hole roughly twice the size of the plant pot
- Handle pots with care
- Carefully squeeze side of pots to remove plant
- Position plant in the ground so that the top of root ball is level with existing soil level
- Firm in well
- Soak soil well after planting
- Benefits from support later in the Summer
- Cut back clumps after flowers die back
- To encourage blooms, deadhead as required
- Benefits from addition of a phosphorus based fertiliser
