Rhubarb - Planting Instructions
- Sow: Late Winter/Spring or Late Summer/Autumn
- Location: Sunny spot, well drained soil
- Depth of crown: Plant so that top of crown is 1" or 4cm below ground level
- Spacing: 30" or 75cm between plants
- Harvest: Do not harvest in the first year - instead allow plant to develop
- To Harvest: Remove the flower stalks as they are seen from April to June
- Note: Do not eat the foliage / leaves
- Plant in raised beds to ensure against rotting of the crowns
