Potted Sedum Plant - Characteristics
- Habit: Upright & clump forming
- Succulent foliage, deep purple in colour
- Herbaceous perennial, will come back year after year
- Flower colour: Light green, touch of silver foliage
- Flat heads with clusters of small star shaped blooms
- Flowering period: July to September
- Seed heads provide further interest in Winter
- Final height: 30cm
- Final spread: 45cm
Potted Sedum Plant - Planting Instructions
- All alpine plants prefer light & airy soil
- Soak pot for 3 minutes before planting
- Dig hole roughly twice the size of the plant pot
- Add a small amount of sand or grit to the base of the planting hole
- Gently squeeze the sides of the pot to remove plant
- Plant so that the top of root ball is level with existing soil level
- Firm in well
- Soak soil well after planting
