- Sow: February to June (Once soil has warmed up)
- Recommend using a garden cloche prior to sowing to warm up soil
- Can be sown indoors using biodegradable pots & transplanted out
- Sow thinly
- Spacing: 15cm apart
- Avoid thinning later & avoid disturbing crop
- Soil type: Light, free draining and stone free
- Protect against carrot fly, cover seedlings with garden netting early
