This seed tray is very good quality. The base, the tray and internal raised platform are all made from sturdy injection moulded plastic. The dome appears to be a vacuum formed plastic part, so it is lighter and much more flexible. The self watering design of this seed tray does work well in my experience. Just be careful about the combination of constantly damp compost, high humidity under the dome and light through the clear plastic. You can easily get algae, or worse, fungal growth on the compost if you leave the dome on too long. There are no adjustable air vents in this propagator model. The self watering feature is a capillary mat allowing water to the compost through large holes in base of the tray cells. Used properly in the right conditions, I found that to be very convenient. Happy with the product and happy with the fast delivery.

This product is for a bargain of a price, for such a well performing propagator, Hopefully these will be available in larger sizes soon !!
