Smart Bug Killer - Harm to Bees
- There are two varying arguments here
- Provanto stand by their product & argue that it is safe & not toxic to bees
- While Friends of the Earth claim that the active ingredient Thiacloprid can harm bees
- Thiacloprid is said to disorientate bees
- In high doses it can kill bees
- The Garden Shop View: The BUND tests were done at very high doses, far higher than what is found in Provado Ultimate Bug Killer
- If applied late in the day or early in the morning then this product will have little impact of bees
