- Galanthus woronowii is a beautiful early-flowering snowdrop, prized for its elegant white nodding blooms and broad, glossy green leaves. Flowering at the end of winter, it provides one of the first signs of spring and is excellent for naturalising in gardens.

Snowdrop Bulbs - How to Sow

- Choose a partially shaded or lightly sunny planting location.
- To prepare planting hole:
- Use a garden hand trowel, dibber or bulb planter.
- Depth: Approximately 7cm - 10cm deep.
- Spacing: 5cm - 8cm apart.
- Soil: Moist, fertile and well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Improve heavy clay soils with horticultural grit if necessary.
- Plant bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards.
- Cover with soil and firm gently.
- Water thoroughly after planting if the soil is dry.
- Feed with poultry manure or a balanced bulb fertiliser as new growth appears.
- Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering to replenish the bulbs.
- Leave bulbs undisturbed to naturalise and multiply year after year.
